Hello Family and Friends;
Sheila is done as our Activity Coordinator and we wish her a safe delivery. Susan, our new Activity Coordinator, will begin next week.
Sunday, August 29th is Tony Manfredi’s birthday so Happy Day from your friends at No Limits! And thank you for the treats.
Tracey kindly came back on Thursday and Friday and helped us create the September Activity calendar. Hoping to have it edited and printed and in your hands by Monday. Thank you Tracey for pitching in when we really needed you!
As we worked through finding area restaurants and fun spots, we found many barriers. Some places we used to go are closed (driving ranges),or not willing to accommodate us and our schedule (like the Trolley in Mill Creek Park or the paddle boats). Restaurants are refusing groups as large as ours because of problems getting wait-staff. The YMCA and Jewish Community Centers can’t give us any pool times that work with our day time hours. Places like Wagon Trails are closing earlier in the season, and the corn maze places won’t open for us during the day – nor will Sportsworld or Extreme Air. If we can’t go to these businesses until 1:00 when they open, we would have to RUSH through our activity to be back here by 2:00 for buses. The staffing crunch is affecting everyone across the board and unfortunately we are feeling the effects. When you notice that we have less community outings and more in-house activities, this is the reason.

Monday, August 30th:
This week’s entrée from No Limits Café is a meatball splash. It is their hot lunch option all week. Today we will begin our visits to the bakery for our yummy sweets.
Tuesday, August 31st:
Leslie will be here today for yoga – my mistake last week – she had family obligations and was not here for classes. We are trying Southgate Pizza today.
Wednesday, September 1st:
Leslie will be back for more breathing, relaxing and stretching. Hot lunch today is kielbasa casserole, potatoes and fruit.
Thursday, September 2nd:
We are dusting off the bats and having a baseball game. Rally, rally, everybody gets a hit!!
Don’t forget that the Canfield Fair opens today and Sandy, our art instructor has generously framed and submitted some of our art pieces. If you find yourself at the fair, stop at the art barn and see what we have created. The following artists will have pieces there; Mindy, Olivia, Nikki V., Jeff B., Emre, Travis, Molly, Ziara, John Michael, Donald, Ian and Nicole G.
Friday, September 3rd:
Heading out to C’s Waffles for lunch.
Attached is the flyer for our No Limits Café Fall Open House on September 16th , 17th and 18th . We are adding the annual car wash and steak hoagie sale on Friday as our first fund raiser for our POOL!!! We are happy to take orders and send home sandwiches. Or better yet, stop by for a treat, some new fall décor for your home, grab lunch and get your car cleaned. Here’s hoping the weather cooperates.
No Limits is closed on Monday, September 6th in honor of Labor Day. We will resume programming on Tuesday, September 7th.
