No Limits Weekly news 10/31 -11/4
Monday 31st – Happy Halloween! Today the No Limits Gril0ing Ghouls will serve Mummy Dogs, Werewolf fingers, and Witches eyeballs (crescent rolls, hotdogs, French fries &
grapes) for lunch. It’s our favorite day of the month!! DJ Jeff will be here to play all our favorite dance tunes for Octobers Birthday Celebration and Monster Bash dance. You can wear a costume if you like.
Tuesday 1st – We will start the day by doing what feels right during Yoga with Leslie. Small groups will join Karen in the kitchen for Cooking Toward Independence, and for lunch we will enjoy Pizza Joe’s subs and chips for lunch.
Wednesday 2nd – Start today by inhaling the new and exhaling the old during Yoga practice with Leslie. For lunch the No Limits kitchen will serve Sloppy Joes, chips and fresh fruit. After lunch join Artrel and Jordan for Sports Club.
Thursday 3rd – This morning a small group will join Karen in the kitchen for cooking class. Ham & veggies scalloped potato casserole, dinner roll and cookie will be served by The No Limits Café and Bakery for lunch today.
Friday 4th – November activities and lunch orders due today!!! I have to place the pizza order for Tuesday and Karen will need to shop for Mondays lunch so if you plan on ordering these two lunches, you MUST have your money and orders in on time. This Morning will be our 1st Christmas Choir practice. I am already getting requests from places for us to sing. They Love us out there!! Lunch will be the enjoyable the Pierogis (Thank you Mrs. Snitzer) that we prepared during cooking class with Karen this week,
along with fish sticks, coleslaw and Jell-O
Fundraising updates:
I want to give a Shout – Out to our top two candy bars sellers! So far Brittney Bloomer has raised $355.00 in candy bars sales, and Jacob Taylor has raised $162.00 in candy bars sale. Wonderful job you two!!! And many thanks to ALL who are selling and buying.
This fundraiser so far has raised $823.00 and we are not done yet. We have extended our sale through Election Day in the hopes that some of those voters coming here will buy! Give us a call or send a note in if you need any more candy bars. I cannot express how impressed I am with everyone’s dedication during all of the fundraising events. I’m so proud and thankful to be a small part of the No Limits Family!!
Community News:
Highway Tabernacle’s next respite night will be November 12th from 6pm to 8:30 pm. You must register for this night by November 9th . You can register by going to their website: https://highwaytab.churchcenter.com/registerationevents/1494860.
Tonight, Friday the 28 th at YSU Ward Beecher Planetarium, starting at 8pm (Get there a little early, you cannot enter after the show has started) you can watch a spooky nights spectacular show. There is no cost to see the show but donations are appreciated.
On Saturday, October 29th at 4pm, the FWD Ministries is having a Fall Festival. There will be food, games, giveaways, Trunk N Treat & music. It will be fun for the whole family.
Whatever you do this weekend have fun doing it! As always I can’t wait to see you on Monday!
